City Tour of 8 hours
São Conrado, Tijuca forest, Corcovado (Statue of Christ Redeemer today one of the 7 modern wonders of the world ), Santa Teresa, Maracanã (Football Stadium), Sambódromo, Centro (business district and original part of city), Aterro do Flamengo and beaches.
We comence on the south coast of Rio and pass through the suburbs of Ipanema, Leblon and São Conrado, the most fashionable suburbs where you can appreciate the views of the beaches, the Gavea Golf Course, the surrounding forest, and Pedra Bonita and Gavea (where you can also do Hangliding on another ocasion).
We drive through the Parque Nacional Tijuca Forest, a tropical rain forest with 120-sq-KM of incredible beauty within the city of Rio de Janeiro, including many different plants, birdlife, and animals such as monkeys can be appreciate. At the forest we stop at Cascatinha (the Tunay falls) then we visit the Christ of Redeemer statue (Corcovado), which offers a postcard views of all Rio de Janeiro.
After this, we descend through the suburb of Santa Tereza and its bohemian life and colonial houses, pass the little “electric trams” (bonde) including the museum and other points of interest. Down in Centro we visit the Cathedral San Sebastian of Rio de Janeiro (which is a project of Oscar Niemayer), and visit the Cafeteria Colombo for a some nice Brazilian delicatese and coffee with an Art Nouveau décor ambience. We can do a small walking tour to admire some of the architecture of Rio de Janeiro, such as the National Library, Municiipal Theater and National Museum.
We then pass by the Sambadrome (open in 1984), where Rio de Janeiro’s famous samba schools parade during carnivale. Then cross the city to Maracanã, one of the worlds most famous football stadiums, and considered the home of Brazilian football, tour inside the stadium and visit the Soccer Museum. Finally to the gardens Burl Marx (Aterro do Flamengo), and onto the beaches of Flamengo, Botafogo, Leme, and finalize in Copacabana.

Sugarloaf (Pão de Açúcar)
A spectacular formation of rocks at the entrance to Guanabara bay, where you ascend in gondolas to a height of 395 meters, and enjoy spectactular views of Rio de Janeiro, Red Beach, Copacabana, Botafogo, Guanabara bay and Niteroi.

Day Tour at the South Beachs of Rio & Burl Marx Garden – 8 hours
From Copacabana to the ecological reserve of Barra da Tijuca, Recreio dos Bandeirantes, Prainha (a famous surfing beach) and Grumary beaches and afther we cross the park to the fisherman villige of Guaratiba were we will stop at one of them graciouse Restaurants (no drinks included), afther lunch we visit the Burle Marx Gardens covering 350.000sq meter. Rio has beaches for all tastes. We will start in Copacabana in direction of south area of Rio, experience and enjoying the style and culture of Rio de Janeiro’s beaches with there people, sports and leisure. At Recreio we visit the Museu do Pontal were you can see the best folk-art collections in Brazil. We will stop by the Prainha and Grumary for swimming. Apart of the wonderful beaches, this area also has some of the best Restaurants of Rio, the tour including lunch at one of these secret places of Rio.

Walking City Center and Cidade do Samba – 6 hours
In the center of city, we will visit the business district and historical parts of city, including major museums, buildings from the time of the Federation Republic of Brasil, and walk through the areas of Cinelandia, Candelaria, visit the Monasterio of São Bento, Catedral, Café Colombo, the historical “French quarter” of 7th September Street (R. Sete de Setembro), 15th Place (Praça XV), and cultural center of Banco do Brasil, and Lapa. After this we will visit the CIDADE do SAMBA, complex where we the Samba Schools construct the Carnaval. You can enjoy the history and visit the museum with costumes and big floats. You can buy various gifts and take great pictures.

Favela Tour with Barbercue at the finish
We will visit the favela of Rocinha, with over 100,000 inhabitants, and see how day to day life is conducted in this famous suburb which commenced in 1926.
We will ascend the mountain where Rocinha is located using moto-taxi,and descend through various streets observing life of the local cariocas, and many unique views of Rio de Janeiro.

Botanical Gardens and Tijuca National Park & Forest

In 1808, when the courtesans of Portugal arrived in Brasil, Dom João VI created the initial horticultural gardens that form the basis for the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Gardens. The Rio de Janeiro Botanical Gardens include 8000 species of plants, including various species from the Amazon and fruit trees. The Botanical Gardens is particularly famous for its Imperial Palm trees (a species of palm that grows to heights of in excess of 80 meters), variety and diversity of orchids and bromelias. After this we ascend to the National Park of Tijuca, and travel to the Chinese lookout, for further spectacular views of Rio de Janeiro. This can including lunch (including drinks) at one of the great houses at the forest, but need to be organize before.

Hang Gliding or Para Sailing
We ascend to the take off point on Pedra Bonita situated in Tijuca National Park to an altitude of 520 meters. The view is panoramic, and fantastic, with total safety and security. You descend under the tuition and safety of your instructor, taking in the views of San Conrado beach and the Atlantic ocean, and alight next to the beach at Pepino.
